Now, the new ‘Bhim’ app launch based on ‘Aadhaar’ will be on thumb

On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the new “Bhim” (BHIM-India Interface for Money) app running from Aadhaar number.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “There was a time when people used to connect the thumb impression with illiteracy.

But, technology has made thumb today a source of strength.

People are using thumb on their phones, which is a big deal for the cashless economy.

The Bhim-based app will not require smartphones, internet and debit or credit cards.

It is not necessary for a person to be educated and written.

To take money from any customer, the shopkeeper will need his base number and thumb impression.

On the 126th birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar, the Prime Minister said, “If cashless economy is a chariot, then Bhima App is its charioteer, it can not be stopped, we see that there are five policemen engaged in the safety of an ATM. If you do not deal too much in cash then your mobile will become an ATM, that day is not far away, when there will be no premises or paper.

He said that Bhim-based Pay App will play the same role in the empowerment of the common Indian, as has been done by Ambedkar’s Indian Constitution.

This will fulfill the dream of Baba Saheb Ambedkar’s social and financial empowerment.
